Giving Back to the Community

Air Essentials, Inc. is a company whose principles are built on honesty, integrity, and providing excellent service at a great value. Air Essentials, Inc. believes strongly in giving back to the communities in which they service. Being native to the area, owners Joe Knoch and Travis Vines are simply not lip service when it comes to community involvement.

For instance, Joe has been active in both local Chambers of Commerce – Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce and the Madison Chamber of Commerce. He is currently an Emissary for the Huntsville Chamber and in the past years has won the honor of being the Ambassador of the Year, the Emissary of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year. He has also worked on the Small Business awards committee, has served on the leadership council/guidance committee and is a longtime volunteer for the annual fundraising /sponsorship campaign now known as Chamber On.

Growing up in Madison, Joe has seen a lot of improvement and growth to the City; so he feels just as passionate about serving it as well. He serves as an Ambassador for the Madison Chamber of Commerce and served on the Board for 5 years. Joe has also served on boards for the Better Business Bureau of North Alabama, The YMCA and currently serves on the board for 305 8th St – a non-profit that he encourages anyone that can help, to do so.

In addition, Joe and his staff donates to countless organizations, from silent auction items to school fundraising campaigns and donating several new coats to the Boys Club and being a supporter of WAY-FM . One unique contribution Joe and Travis made was a sizable donation made to the Madison Police Department to purchase 2 police bikes, so patrols could be made easier for the park areas and during special events.

Travis Vines also takes a serious approach to giving back to the local community, he actively participates in the Boy Scouts of America as an assistant Scout Master, donates time and services to a local VFW and can be seen on many a weekend showing his culinary skills cooking for the clients of Mental Health Center of North Alabama. In addition, he has also been known to spin a mean turntable when he donates his DJ skills for the same organizations that awarded and recognized his effort and commitment to them.
